Formulation

Smoky Quartz Crystal Elixir is an aromatherapy balm designed to Ground the Root. The embedded Smoky Quartz stone anchors us to the earth, connecting our roots to the physical world and incites the primal forces within that allow us to survive. This gem is paired with grounding Patchouli & Benzoin for a woodsy & sweet aroma in a nourishing salve base. 

Ritual

Use your Crystal Elixir however you like: on the wrists as perfume, on the skin or hair to hydrate, under the nose for its aromatic properties. You will find that there is a rather magical aspect to rubbing the smooth stone while using the balm ~ and you will have a beautiful stone to keep! 

To maximize this elixir's grounding effects, apply over the abdomen and make small circular motions with your fingertips by starting with a ring around your belly button and working your way out (taking the time to massage any spots that are especially tender or sensitive).

Inspiration

Like the 7 Chakras, traditional Daoist medicine has a parallel system called the 9 Palaces. These Palaces run through the center of the body along the course of the Chakras. Out of the 9, there are 3 Central Palaces ~ the center of the head, the chest & the abdomen. The Crystal Elixirs have been formulated with these 3 centers in mind.
