FORMULATION

Apply to moisturize, soothe & improve integrity of the skin and to hydrate, smooth & strengthen the hair for a full body glow. Let it be your all-in-one for unplanned overnighters and extended excursions.

Our November 2024 update includes supercritical CO2 extracts of Pikake & Jasmine flowers, for a more robust aroma than our previous 2024 batches (closer to 2023 & earlier versions) but still with a cleaner and more true-to-flower aroma that benefits the skin & hair.

RITUAL

To use, start with a dropperful in your palms. Work from root to tip of wet hair, or use just a bit to smooth out dry hair.

Apply lightly to the face and liberally to the body to moisturize your skin. Adorn on neck & wrists for a light yet lovely perfume.

VESSEL

Available in a 1 oz glass bottle with a glass dropper. Please repurpose or recycle your vessel after you've enjoyed every last drop. Our labels are printed on 100% recycled paper.

We avoid all things synthetic, relying entirely on the healing potency so abundant within the natural world that our collective ancestors have treasured for millenia.

What is a Supercritical CO2 Extract?

A Supercritical CO2 Extract utilizes carbon dioxide as a 'solvent' to absorb botanical aromatics. With modern technology, the carbon dioxide is put under extreme pressure to become a 'supercritical fluid' ~ a state of matter that is neither solid, liquid nor gas. When placed in a chamber with plant material, the supercritical fluid becomes saturated with many of the aromatic constituents; once depressurized, the carbon dioxide returns to its original gaseous state and evaporates.

This technique yields an extract that is completely free of any solvent residues, making it ideal for formulations to benefit the skin and producing aromas otherwise unavailable by traditional extraction methods (either due to cost or constituent limitations). We selected Jasmine sambac (Pikake) & Jasmine grandiflorum CO2 extracts for this formulation because they are the safest, most potent & most true-to-flower aromatic materials currently available.

All over Amazing

The all over sun oil went away but! this reformulation of the Moon Oil is just as wonderful. My locks are less frizzy and the aroma is lovely with a great dry down. Super grateful!!!

Looove this oil!

I am a huge fan of both this and the Whipped Love body butter! I use the latter on most of my body, while the Moon All Over Oil is my favorite face treatment. I put a few drops on my forehead, nose, and chin, and gently rub into my entire face. Soaks in great. And the smell! I seriously use this as perfume on the regular, just a few drops on the inner wrists. Soothing and luxurious!

Smells so good!

I love the smell of this. I put it in my hair and then on my face at night before going to sleep. The jasmine and pikake combination is amazing. It makes your hair feel soft.
