CHOCOLATE MINT Lip Balm Kit

$30.00 USD

OVERVIEW

Infusing & salve making are foundational arts of herbalism. With this easy DIY kit, you'll be able to explore the transformative magic of each as you first make an infused oil and then turn your oil into balm.

Our kit will allow you to craft your own set of Chocolate Mint lip balms for everyday use. Our nourishing Hawai'i grown ingredients make for a hydrating base that soothe the lips and impart a subtle scent with real botanicals.

KIT CONTENTS

Each kit provides all materials to hand roll about 16 incense cones with Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, organic Rose petals, and your choice of locally grown hydrosol (Patchouli or Lemongrass). Makko powder is provided as a binder, and imparts a subtle earthy aroma.

A printed pamphlet shares detailed step-by-step instructions to guide you through making the dough, forming each cone, allowing them to dry and then burning them to produce beautifully perfumed smoke.

The star of the kit is Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood, an endemic species that evolved distinctly in Hawai'i (and no where else on earth). It's rich, sweet & woody aroma facilitates creativity, encourages meditation and is said to open the third eye.

INCENSE KIT FAQ

Do I need any prior experience making incense?

No, this kit is designed for beginners and is perfectly suitable for those who have never made incense before.

What additional materials are required?

You will need a standard tablespoon for measuring, a small bowl to mix the dough, and a relatively flat plate for forming the cones. What you already have in your kitchen works great ~ everything can easily be washed when you're done.

What kind of incense can I make?

You'll be able to make either a batch of Sandalwood incense and a batch of Rose incense, or 2 batches of a Rose & Sandalwood blend. While those two aromas will be predominant, the Makko binder will impart a slight earthy aroma, as will the hydrosol you choose.

How long does it take to make the incense?

The included recipe uses up half of the provided ingredients, so you'll get 2 batches out of the kit. Each batch will take about 1 hour from start to finish (making the dough & rolling) to yield about 8 cones. It will take an additional 3-6 days for the incense to dry before they can be used.

How long do the incense last?

Once fully dried, your incense cones should last 2 years (if not longer) as long as they are stored in a cool dry place. Each cone will have a burn time of about 15-25 minutes. Cones can be smothered while lit and then saved for another burning.
