MORNING PERFUMERY
Morning perfumery, mixing up a blend for a client. Creating custom perfumes is one of my greatest passions in this line of work… Blending is truly an aromatic art, and I believe every perfume should be as unique as the person that it adorns. Processed through an entirely different area of the brain than the rest of our senses, smell has a particular association with our memories – thus giving scents the rare ability to transform us through time & space. I love witnessing reactions to different aromatic materials, and watching olfactory preferences evolve as we grow + change into slightly different versions of ourselves. Thus, the last drops in old vials of perfume can serve as a scented reminder of who and where we were in life when we wore it every day.

Late Night Perfuming….
Tonight’s #latenightalchemy = custom perfuming. One of my favorite aspects of this work is being able to make one-of-a-kind aromatic creations, particularly for clients who request a blend that I would’ve never imagined putting together. The possibilities are endless, and always enchanting.
