S.O.S. SPRAY Herbal Antiseptic

Formulation

"Save Our Skin"

This medicinal formula combines powerful antibacterial, antifungal & antiviral herbs to help clear the skin: use it for mild topical infections such as haole rot {aka tinea versicolor} or athlete's foot, apply to minor wounds & cuts to keep the area clean and facilitate healing, take the itch or sting out of bug bites, and spot treat zits or areas prone to acne.

All of the botanicals in this formula are Hawaii sourced, and were infused into organic apple cider vinegar which was then blended with Big Island Turmeric hydrosol. Together, this spray is gentle enough to use on open skin but potent enough to help prevent and curb infection.

Ritual

Use on minor abrasions after cleaning the wound thoroughly. See this blog post on how we recommend incorporating S.O.S into wound care.

For acne, use daily (ideally before bed) on clean skin: spot treat zits by applying with a cotton ball or spray onto problem areas and let dry.

For 'damp heat' skin irritations such as poison ivy, haole rot, or athlete's foot, apply 2-3 times per day over clean skin.

Discontinue use if this product irritates or worsens the issue.

Herbalist's Note

If your skin is suffering from a chronic infection or severe wound, take photos every day in good lighting (morning & night) to determine its progression. Seek medical treatment for an issue that does not appear to be healing or is getting worse. As always with open wounds, be vigilant about the potential for serious infection: if you see a superficial red line traveling from the site (toward the heart) that quickly worsens, get it checked by a licensed medical professional as this may be a sign of systemic infection and may require internal treatment.
