This precious little pin is made by our friend Danya of Laulima, a Manoa-based small business dedicated to preserving Hawai'i's ecosystems.

Words from Laulima:
"'Ōhi'a Lehua is the backbone of Hawai'i's forests. This unique tree is important in both Hawaiian culture and Hawaiian ecosystems."

A portion of sales from each 1" gold enameled pin purchase are donated to the 'Ōhi'a Legacy Initiative, to support the survival and proliferation of this cherished endemic species.

Laulima aims to raise knowledge and awareness of native Hawaiian flora and fauna while supporting their conservation. It is our kuleana to care for and appreciate the precious plants and animals with which we share our home.

Owner Danya Weber spends her time restoring native Hawaiian forests on Oʻahu. She previously worked for the Kauaʻi Forest Bird Recovery Project and Hawaiʻi VINE Project.
