This precious little pin is made by our friend Danya of Laulima, a Manoa-based business dedicated to helping preserve Hawai'i's ecosystems.

Words from Laulima:
"In Hawaiian legend, the Naupaka half-flower represents two star-crossed lovers split by fate. The Naupaka plant is found in the mountains and beaches of Hawaiʻi, the flowers in bloom yearning to be together."

A portion of sales from each 1" gold enamel Naupaka Pin support Hawaiian forest restoration.

Laulima aims to raise knowledge and awareness of native Hawaiian flora and fauna while supporting their conservation. It is our kuleana to care for and appreciate the precious plants and animals with which we share our home.

Owner Danya Weber spends her time restoring native Hawaiian forests on Oʻahu. She previously worked for the Kauaʻi Forest Bird Recovery Project and Hawaiʻi VINE Project.
