Enjoy this nourishing medicine as part of your food & drink! These are our favorite ways of infusing Golden Spice: 
Oatmeal ~ Add a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon to cooked oatmeal before serving for breakfast to heat up your digestive 'burner' first thing in the morning.
Rice ~ Stir a teaspoon into rice while cooking to add a vibrant golden color and Middle East inspired flavor. 
Golden Cocoa ~ Mix 1/2 to 1 teaspoon with equal parts Cacao powder; slowly add in hot water to form a paste before filling the rest of your cup for a stimulating morning drink. Add some Coconut milk & honey or silan if you're feeling indulgent. 

About the Herbs

Cinnamon
This hot-natured, circulating bark of the Cinnamon tree helps to heat us up when we feel cold and chilled, or when the body feels heavy due to environmental dampness. Unlike Cinnamon Cassia, the variety you normally find available in the U.S., True Cinnamon {C. verum} has a rich, deep sweetness that warms the whole body from within. 

Ginger
This spicy rhizome helps boost circulation to keep us warm and encourage healthy immune function. Ginger is also a well-loved and generally well-tolerated herb for easing all sorts of digestive discomforts. 

Turmeric 
This brilliant orange rhizome is a wonderful 'qi and blood mover' to help dispel stagnation in the body, aiding with pain relief and the feeling of heaviness. The slightly bitter taste tells the story of a rich medicinal profile within this potent plant.
