Introducing the Elixir Collective

Introducing the Elixir Collective

The Elixir Collective is a new monthly subscription box that offers exclusive or limited batch items inspired by local, seasonal and rare flora.

MOCHA ROSE TINT

My classic Mocha Rose Stain is now available in a push-up cardboard eco tube! This version has a more hydrating feel, with a slight rosy tint and the same decadent aroma of Hawaiian cacao + coffee. I am offering these babes as a limited edition item, depending on how much y’all like them. 💋

For the Forest Dwellers

MIDWOOD MUSK // An aromatic adornment for forest dwellers and mountain folk; a solid scent for those who prefer to smell like the trees above all else. Four of my favorite botanicals dance together in this lovely perfume, which includes the ever-precious essences of Hawaiian grown & distilled Vetiver & Sandalwood essential oils. $18 at >indigoelixirs.com

MORNING PERFUMERY

Morning perfumery, mixing up a blend for a client. Creating custom perfumes is one of my greatest passions in this line of work… Blending is truly an aromatic art, and I believe every perfume should be as unique as the person that it adorns. Processed through an entirely different area of the brain than the rest of our senses, smell has a particular association with our memories – thus giving scents the rare ability to transform us through time & space. I love witnessing reactions to different aromatic materials, and watching olfactory preferences evolve as we grow + change into slightly different versions of ourselves. Thus, the last drops in old vials of perfume can serve as a scented reminder of who and where we were in life when we wore it every day.

If you’re on O’ahu and would like a custom blend, please get in touch for a private in-person perfumery session… Otherwise order here by choosing from any of 30 different essential oils, and I will send a vial encapsulating your one-of-a-kind perfume through the mail!

BLUE MOON BALM

|| BLUE MOON BALM ||
A pain-relieving rub for your monthly moon ~ simply massage onto abdomen & low back to relieve cramping. All the herbs in this formula are warming in nature, move the blood to keep things flowing, calm the spirit & alleviate pain: by applying in circular motions, you can actually feel heat being generated on your skin. The center of the balm features a ‘blue moon’ of soothing blue chamomile essential oil. In addition to working womanly wonders, this salve can also alleviate general muscle cramps & pains. Available in a 1 oz tin for $14.

Blue Chamomile

// BLUE //
Totally entranced by this beautiful blue chamomile essential oil. I love how botanical extractions can unlock colors + flavors + scents + properties hidden inside of plants, like the blue azulene that is revealed in the distillation of German Chamomile {aka Matricaria recutita}. Certain flowers contain higher amounts of azulene, which is known for its anti-inflammatory & skin healing properties. I am stoked to be currently experimenting with its magic for a new #BlueMoonBalm elixir in the works!

Sangre de Drago

// SANGRE DE DRAGO //

I am now offering one of the most indispensable botanical allies in my apothecary. Dragon’s Blood is sourced by ‘bleeding’ the Amazonian tree Croton lechleri, and its truly miraculous exudate can be used on all sorts of skin issues – I literally never go anywhere without it. The resin functions as a liquid bandage over open + bleeding cuts, aiding to quickly clot blood, form a scab & prevent infection; I’ve even used it to successfully heal deep wounds when stitches were not an option. A thin layer of Sangre can also clear up serious skin infections {including staph}, stop the itch of bug bites & greatly reduce pimples. After attempting to incorporate the resin into various elixirs, I’ve come to the conclusion that it simply is perfect on its own and therefore I want to be able to provide it in its purest form.
